Some people place the laughing Buddha on the dashboard of their vehicle to protect them and bring them luck. It is supposed to be a positive source of energy, bringing you the peace of mind you need while driving.
If you are a student, you can also place the Buddha on your working or studying desk. Placing the Buddha in the reception area of your workplace or business office indicates that you invite people to work with you more harmoniously.
