18. What You Should Know About The Feng Shui Buddha

from:

The Feng Shui Buddha is one of the most popular and common Feng Shui objects. It is an object that many people buy or offer as a gift, due to its significant importance. The Laughing Buddha or Buddha of Happiness, as it is mostly known, comes from the Buddhist theories.

According to the Feng Shui basics, the Laughing Buddha laughs, because he sees the worries of people transform into happiness and prosperity. According to the philosophy and myths, there is nothing that can make the Buddha happier than this. The statue of Buddha is smiling because of the inner smile that he features. The Feng Shui Buddha has the ability to radiate his feelings, therefore, he keeps a big and vivid smile. His main advantage is that he can bring happiness and prosperity to all people, no matter where they are and live. It is a powerful symbol of wealth and happiness, and it supports the innocent and uninterrupted joy, the joy of life. Some people say that looking at his happy and playful face is enough to make a difference in your life.

People supposedly rub the belly of the Laughing Buddha to acquire some of his wealth. Buddha can bring good luck and prosperity to the household – actually, the bigger the tummy is, the more luck he can radiate into the house and people. The Feng Shui Buddha is the most loved and respected of all deities in Buddhism and is supposed to be the most quintessential piece of the Feng Shui philosophy.

The Feng Shui Buddha can be found with many different names such as the Buddha of Wealth, the Laughing Buddha, the Buddha of prosperity etc. He is usually carrying symbols of wealth, such as pots and coins or a sack full of treasures. He can also carry a gourd, which is called wu lu in Chinese. This is the main symbol of longevity and health.

The best place to place the Feng Shui Buddha is in the living room. According to the principles, the best place is in alignment to the front door, so as to ensure that the energy that flows in is positive and to acquire good luck and fortune in the household. Some people place the laughing Buddha on the dashboard of their vehicle to protect them and bring them luck. It is supposed to be a positive source of energy, bringing you the peace of mind you need while driving.

If you are a student, you can also place the Buddha on your working or studying desk. Placing the Buddha in the reception area of your workplace or business office indicates that you invite people to work with you more harmoniously.
