11. Feng Shui Gifts - What To Buy For Friends

from:

Feng Shui features many symbols which are supposed to bring luck and attract positive energy, thus, people like placing them in the proper spots in their houses. Feng Shui gifts are supposed to be among the best possible gifts you can give to someone. Given below are some of the most common articles used in Feng Shui practices that you can give to people as gifts:

The Dragon Turtle: The Golden Dragon Turtle reflects prosperity and success. It can help you make your business more lucrative and improve your relationships with the others. The dragon turtle should be placed in the South East corner that symbolizes prosperity and wealth.

The Good Luck Coins: This is probably the most common Feng Shui gift. The golden coins tied with a red thread or ribbon represent wealth and luck. Giving someone this kind of gift brings good luck both to you and the receiver.

The Golden Cat: The statue of the golden cat represents abundance. One side of the sculpture shows a cat smiling and projecting the left paw – this is a sign of good luck and wealth. The other side shows a cat holding a broom with its paw – an action that represents longevity with minimum troubles or problems.

Golden Pigs: This object is supposed to be bought and gifted in pairs. They bring happiness and prosperity to the house and people. They are also a symbol of reliability and honesty and are an ideal gift in the case of a new house.

Bells: You can gift someone bells that they can place outside the house, on the door in the case where the door faces North or West. Bells are a symbol of good news and they are known to bring prosperity.

The Three Star Gods: These are the symbols of health, wealth and long life and they are among the most respected and sacred symbols of the Feng Shui practice.

Plants: Indoor plants should be placed in the South East corner of the house to improve wealth and prosperity. Round leaved plants are preferred, as Feng Shui considers sharp edges to bring negative energy.

Wealth Bucket: The Bucket filled with coins should be placed in the North West corner of the living or working space, but it should not be on display, but rather placed in a drawer.

Aquarium or Fish: Buying an aquarium as a gift is probably not practical, but you can buy fish. Fish, especially the goldfish, are considered to be a symbol of longevity and can bring good fortune to any living space. Even if you cannot buy the actual ones, you should buy the pictures of eight goldfish and place them in your living or working space.
